Warehouse Lead
Penn Life Sciences is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead to join our team in Langhorne, PA.
The Warehouse Lead will serve as a hands-on, working lead responsible for coordinating daily warehouse activities in support of material movement, inventory accuracy, and cGMP compliance. This role supports sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing operations by ensuring materials are properly received, stored, issued, and shipped in accordance with SOPs, safety requirements, and Good Documentation Practices. The ideal candidate will bring strong warehouse execution skills, experience in regulated environments, and the ability to provide on-the-floor leadership as operations scale.
This position’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Lead daily warehouse activities including receiving, inspection, labeling, storage, issuance, and shipment of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
- Ensure all material movements and transactions are executed in compliance with cGMP requirements, Good Documentation Practices, and site SOPs.
- Verify accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments, reconcile discrepancies, and escalate issues to appropriate stakeholders as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP and support cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance to support timely material release and ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and contemporaneous.
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely while maintaining warehouse safety, organization, and housekeeping standards.
We are looking for applicants with:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 4–7 years of progressive warehouse experience, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions.
- Prior experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience acting in a lead or senior warehouse capacity, including training or coordinating daily activities of peers.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP platforms (e.g., SYSPRO, SAP) and strong attention to documentation accuracy.
