HR Generalist

Penn Life Sciences is looking for an HR Generalist to join our team in Langhorne, PA.

The HR Generalist is responsible for coordinating and executing key HR functions for the site, with a focus on pharmaceutical recruitment, payroll and benefits administration, and the ongoing development and implementation of company and HR policies. This position is expected to evolve into a supervisory or management role based on performance and company growth.

This position’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Lead site-level recruitment efforts, including sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, and onboarding candidates—particularly for roles in pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Manage and process site payroll in coordination with corporate HR/payroll systems, ensuring timely and accurate compensation
  • Administer employee benefits at the site level, including new hire enrollment, annual open enrollment, and employee inquiries
  • Support the enhancement and enforcement of company policies, procedures, and employee handbooks in compliance with company, state, and federal guidelines
  • Partner with site leadership to support employee relations and ensure a positive and compliant workplace culture

We are looking for applicants with:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
Minimum of 5 years’ HR experience required.
Pharmaceutical recruiting experience strongly preferred.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) strongly preferred.
